We welcomed 219 delegates from 41 countries, with a remarkably strong representation from South Korea. Set in a prestigious new venue overlooking the Grand Canal, we coordinated a comprehensive scientific program featuring over 160 presentations across three parallel sessions, interactive workshops, and poster displays. At the core of the event were 5 plenary Focus Sessions, designed to drive strategic debate on high-impact public issues – from Waste-to-Energy safety to the social acceptance of emerging technologies.
To maximize networking and showcase local culture, we curated three iconic social experiences: a welcome cocktail featuring a guided Italian wine tasting, an authentic tour of Venetian bacari led by local experts, and an elegant masked Gala Dinner hosted in the historic halls of the lagoon.
