We managed the organization of Venice 2024 – 10th International Symposium on Energy from Biomass and Waste, hosted just steps away from St. Mark’s Square, bringing to life an international event that gathered 214 delegates from 36 countries.
The scientific program was divided into three parallel sessions, featuring over 130 contributions including oral presentations, posters, and workshops dedicated to the most current topics in the energy valorisation of biomass and waste. Among the most innovative highlights was the Focus Session on Artificial Intelligence applied to Waste-to-Energy, featuring the virtual speaker Prof. Arti Intel, who engaged in a discussion with international experts on the opportunities and limitations of AI in the sector.
To facilitate networking among participants, we designed a social program immersed in the pre-Christmas Venetian atmosphere, featuring a welcome cocktail, the traditional Bacaro Tour through the city’s historic taverns, and an elegant Gala Dinner followed by an exclusive masked dance party in the historic Salone del Ridotto.
